ZentriForce Pharma besitzt einen internationalen Kundenstamm, der kleine Biotechfirmen und große Pharmakonzerne gleichermaßen umfasst. Unser Analytikportfolio enthält vornehmlich hydrodynamische Techniken, einschließlich Analytischer Ultrazentrifugation (AUZ) und Asymmetrischer Fluss Feld-Fluss Fraktionierung (AF4).   • Interne Diskussionen von Daten mit dem Projektteam
  • Teilnahme an Meetings, denen auch unsere internationalen Kunden beiwohnen
  • Verantwortung für analytische Geräte (zum Beispiel Wartungsaufgaben)

Ihre Qualifikationen

  • Universitätsabschluss in Biophysik, Chemie oder einem vergleichbaren Feld
  • Erfahrung mit ein oder mehreren der folgenden hydrodynamischen Methoden:
    • Asymmetrische Ultrazentrifugation (AUZ)
    • Asymmetrische Fluss Feld-Fluss Fraktionierung (AF4)
    • Größenausschlusschromatographie gekoppelt an Mehrwinkel-Lichtstreuung (SEC-MALS)
  • Gute Kenntnis der GXP Richtlinien und Vorschriften
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse
  • Erfahrung mit HPLC, DLS, SLS und/oder µ-DSC sind wünschenswert

Our analytical portfolio mainly includes hydrodynamic techniques, including analytical ultracentrifugation (AUC) and asymmetrical flow field-flow fractionation (AF4). Our scientists are experts in their respective fields and perform routine measurements as well as complex analytical tasks. The focus is on high quality work and reliable results. To achieve this, ZentriForce Pharma closely follows GMP guidelines.

Your Tasks

  • Analytical characterization of pharmaceutical drug product with respect to quality attributes
  • Data analysis, support of reporting activities
  • Internal discussion of data within the project team
  • Participation in meetings, also with our international customers
  • System ownership of analytical equipment (e.g. maintenance activities)

Your Qualifications

  • University degree in biophysics, chemistry or comparable field
  • Experience in hydrodynamic techniques, preferably one or more of the following:
    • Analytical Ultracentrifugation (AUC)
    • Asymmetrical Flow Field-Flow Analysis (AF4)
    • Size exclusion chromatography coupled with multiangle light scattering (SEC-MALS)
  • Good understanding of GXP quality guidelines and regulations
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in HPLC, DLS, SLS and/or µ-DSC is a plus.

Job description

  • Management of a dedicated team of scientists.
  • Management of laboratory work for analytical services for the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Planning, monitoring, testing and documentation of laboratory work, in compliance with high quality control and quality assurance standards.
  • Support in data analysis and compilation of scientific reports.
  • Coordination of laboratory work for customer projects.
  • Maintenance, improvement and implementation of laboratory procedures.
  • Implementation of project-specific analysis procedures in the laboratory.

Required qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in biophysics, pharmaceutics or similar.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in analysis of biomolecules in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ideally professional experience in a GMP environment.
  • Experience with complex analytical issues and a solid educational basis to acquire a good understanding of new analytical instruments and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to motivate and cultivate a team of expert scientists.
  • A confident, balanced personality to tackle challenges in a calm and professional manner.
  • Very good English skills.

Gene Therapy
For gene therapy product development, traditional quality attributes as well as new quality attributes must be addressed. Our scientists have worked with a wide range of different gene therapy products, ranging from small DNA / RNA complexes over lyposome-based carrier systems and adeno-associated viruses (AAV) to viruses that are several hundred nanometers in size.

Within biosimilarity studies attention is on the collection of evidence that proves that no differences (larger than method variability) in structure and purity exist between a proposed biosimilar and the reference product. Evidence is collected through extensive analytical testing.

Despite being far less complex than full proteins, analytical handling of peptides is challenging. Species as small as peptide-based APIs require analytical instrumentation to be run at its physical limits. Expertise and extensive experience in working with such materials is imperative for successful method development. Our scientists have worked with a large number of peptide-based APIs, with sizes down to 1 kDa.

Gene Therapy
